General Information About MSauna

Where are Msauna built?

Msauna is crafted in Jiangxi, China, a hub for wooden sauna room production. Boasting a comprehensive industry chain and proficient craftsmen, we maintain a notable edge in our field.

What wood are used for Msauna?

Our saunas are constructed from Red Cedar, Hemlock, Finnish Pine, and Thermo wood. Each wood type offers distinct features and benefits, enabling you to select the one that suits your taste.

Can Msauna rooms be tailored to specific shapes?

Yes, Msauna offers customized layouts, dimensions, and materials to create a sauna room that suits your preferences

Placing Your Order

Which sauna heater is right for you: electric or wood-burning?

– **Electric Saunas**: These are known for their quick heat-up times and ease of use, making them perfect for regular use. They’re also designed to handle the addition of water for a steam effect, which enhances the sauna experience. Given these benefits, electric heaters are the choice for over 80% of our customers.

– **Wood-Burning Saunas**: If you prefer a more traditional sauna experience with the ambiance of a wood fire, then a wood-burning heater might be the way to go. These saunas offer a distinct, soothing atmosphere and can also reach high temperatures.

Consider your usage frequency, convenience, and personal preference for the sauna experience when making your decision.

A wood-fired sauna offers a wonderful ambience if you’re looking for the “traditional” sauna experience. It’s a fantastic choice for cottages and rural properties where electrical is not feasible.

Does Msauna provide financing or payment plans?

– **Initial Payment**: When you first place your order, a 30% deposit is required to secure it.

– **Final Payment**: Our team will reach out to schedule a delivery and assembly date that’s convenient for you. The remaining balance is due just before we ship or deliver your sauna.

– **Payment Options**: We currently accept payments via Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) only and do not offer payment plans for our saunas.

For more information on our ordering and payment process, feel free to call or email us at [email protected].

Preparing For & Receiving Your Sauna

How long can I expect my sauna delivery?

– **Production Timeframe**: We typically require 2-3 weeks to manufacture your sauna.

– **Shipping Duration**: Shipping usually takes an additional 2-4 weeks.

So, you can expect to receive your sauna approximately 5-7 weeks after placing your order.

– **Customs and Duties**: If handling customs and taxes is not something you wish to manage, we can arrange DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping for you.

For specific timeline discussions or further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us by phone or email at [email protected].

What kind of site preparation is needed for my barrel sauna?

– **Foundation**: The good news is that barrel saunas don’t need a concrete foundation. They can be set up on almost any level surface, such as:
– Crushed stone
– River rock
– Gravel
– Wood decking
– Flagstones
– Grass

– **Organic Surfaces**: If you’re planning to install the sauna on grass or another organic surface, it’s advisable to place pavers or flagstones under the corners where the sauna’s feet will rest. This prevents the sauna from sinking into the ground over time.

– **Base Construction**: Our saunas are designed to sit on a base consisting of 3 cradles. These cradles are 4 feet wide and made from pressure-treated wood to ensure stability and durability.

Before you set up your sauna, make sure the surface is level and can support the weight of the filled sauna. If you have any questions or need further guidance, feel free to reach out to us.

Assembly and Installation

How difficult is it to assemble a sauna on my own?

– **Assembly Assistance**: We provide assembly videos to guide you through the process, making it more manageable.

– **Assembly Time**: The time it takes can vary. To ensure a relaxed assembly experience, consider setting aside a weekend for the task.

– **Teamwork**: It’s easier and quicker with two people working together rather than going it alone.

– **Support**: If you encounter any issues or have questions during assembly, our order support team is just an email away at [email protected].

Remember, while our saunas are designed for straightforward assembly, it’s important to take your time and enjoy the process. After all, the reward is a relaxing oasis in your own backyard.

To connect your electric sauna heater, you'll need to follow these electrical requirements:

1. **Voltage Specification**: Ensure that your heater, rated at 240V, is compatible with the voltage supplied by your electrical panel.

2. **Hardwiring**: The heater must be hardwired directly to your electrical panel. Do not use a plug or an adapter as this can lead to overheating or potential fire hazards.

3. **Certified Electrician**: Only a certified electrician should perform the wiring and connection tasks. This ensures the work is done safely and in compliance with local electrical codes.

4. **Preliminary Inspection**: Before installation, have an electrician inspect your electrical panel. This check confirms that your service panel has enough capacity to handle the additional load of the sauna heater without overloading.

5. **Proper Wiring**: Use the appropriate wire size and type specified by the heater manufacturer and local electrical codes. Typically, this involves using copper wire with 90C insulation and avoiding aluminum wire.

6. **Circuit Breaker**: The heater will require a dedicated circuit breaker to protect against overcurrent. The size of the breaker will depend on the heater’s wattage and the local electrical standards.

7. **Safety Compliance**: All wiring must conform to national, state, and local electrical codes to ensure safety and prevent potential hazards.

By adhering to these requirements, you can ensure that your sauna heater is installed correctly and safely, providing years of enjoyable use.
